Radiorock--small_small This is Episode Seven of the first series of Radio Rock shows, hosted by John Covach, one of the nation's leading experts in the study of rock music and its history.  Each episode features tracks drawn the 1950s, 60s, 70s, and 80s, sometimes with a more recent track.  The emphasis is on the contrast of rock styles as well as on historical and stylistic continuities, and John brings this out in his scholarly commentary, all delivered with a respect for the music and a gentle sense of humor.
