Intro and Outro

INTRO:

TALL SHIPS ARE HISTORICALLY DESIGNED SAILING VESSELS THAT CONJURE UP IMAGES OF EXPLORERS AND PIRATES. GEORGE MCKAY HAD THE FANTASTIC DREAM TO BUILD A TALL SHIP THAT’S WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE. NOW, FOUR YEARS AFTER IT’S MAIDEN VOYAGE, GEORGE IS LEFT WITH AN UNFINISHED DREAM AS HE WAITS IN A DOCKLESS PURGATORY IN PORTLAND, MAINE’S HARBOR WITH A STRANDED BOAT. HE CAN’T SAIL ALONE AND HIS CREW HAS ALL LEFT. IT HAS NO ENGINE, HE HAS LITTLE MONEY, AND WINTER IS FAST APPROACHING. GEORGE’S VISION IS NOT JUST STUCK IN THE MUD, IT’S ON THE VERGE OF SINKING. INDEPENDENT PRODUCER ANDREW WEEKS HAS THE STORY.
