FUNTOWN/SPLASHTOWN U-S-A IS THE LARGEST FAMILY RUN AMUSEMENT PARK IN THE NORTHEASTERN UNITED STATES. HALF A MILLION PEOPLE TAKE TO THE RIDES IN SACO, MAINE EVERY SUMMER. BUT IT’S ONLY A SELECT FEW THAT SEE BEHIND THE SCENES AFTER THE PARK IS CLOSED. INDEPENDENT RADIO PRODUCER ANDREW WEEKS MET UP WITH BILLY CORMIER, FUNTOWN’S HEAD MAINTENANCE MAN, TO FIND OUT WHAT KEEPS THIS PARK RUNNING, EVEN AFTER EVERYONE ELSE HAS GONE HOME.
