Science or Conspiracy?

From: Alex Smith
Series: Radio Ecoshock Show
Length: 01:00:00

Do you believe in climate science - or is it a hoax aimed at world domination? First half: testimony of John Holdren, Obama science advisor, & Jane Lubchenco of NOAA to Congress, Dec 2, 09. Second: the zany world of hedgehogs, with UK expert and broadcaster, Hugh Warwick.

Ecoshock_logo_small Begins with a half hour digest of latest climate change battle in Congress.  As the "climategate" emails break, and Copenhagen happens, Dr. John Holdren and Dr. Jane Lubchenco testify to the Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming.  Actuality, with pro and con warming Congressmen.  Accusations of "scientific fascism" answered.

Then an interview with the world's only hedgehog champion (and stand-up comic) Hugh Warwick.  In Britain, Warwick was just selected to get an art tattoo of the hedgehog, after a fierce competition to choose representatives for Europe's endangered animals.  Warwick goes deep, showing how "The Hedgehog's Dilemma" (his new book) teach us about our own lonliness for Nature.  He also goes shallow, with some pointed jokes.

Followed by a brief review of climate change news in the U.S., Canada, and Australia.
