DENI: Here’s the scenario. You are sitting at a bar...

DENI: ...and some fairly drunk guys next to you express some incredibly racist and sexist positiona. How should you tell them that they are off base without escalating the situation?
DEAN: Deni, given that hypothetical situation, why do you think I should intervene? I mean, am I obligated to provide a public service announcement at my risk and at my cost?

WHAT?
I like this Piece,
It brings up a very good point about racism (although i'm not sure i agree with it). It sounds like a bit of a NPR newsmagazine or "the world" piece, where the anchors ask each other questions and stuff.
Although, I'm confused as to what Dean's opinion is though. Is there sarcasm?
