Ethan Lipton describes his music as a sort of New American Songbook; others have called his lyrics urban haiku. His inventive lyrics give his audience something they can relate to. Some songs capture the minutia that make up everyday life, while others tell a story through witty prose and observational humor. While Ethan doesn’t come from a musical background his orchestra bring styles ranging from Bluegrass, to funk and jazz.
