The Last Christmas Tree is told my Walt. Walt was the life long friend of the alcoholic, old man Lucas. Old man Lucas made the best moonshine in the three state area. The
local police were always looking for his stills. His shine could eat paint off a car. when swallow it would go down a persons’ throat like the sweetest spring water but when his ‘shine’ hit’ it was like an explosion blowing up solid granite - what experience to have have.

Mrs. Lilly with her three children go to the farmers market to find a $5 christmas tree.
Old man Lucas tells her that he will bring one by with lights that evening. Lucas takes a Christmas tree from the year before. He stands it up and shakes it. All the needles fall off.
