In many ways Jill was a complete cliche; in her mid-twenties she decided to strip to make ends meet while pursuing a masters in art school. She partly needed good money, she partly needed new experiences because she didn't know many people and she partly needed to have a secret life that was really different from her quiet suburban upbringing. But when she got a phone call while stripping from a family member about a personal tragedy, she didn't re-evaluate doing it but did re-evaluate how she wanted to be remembered by her family if something were to happen to her.

wow
I was expecting something to happen with the ominous title "The Phone Call" but I wasn't expecting the strong emotional response I had. A great short piece.
