A TWO LEGGED CREATURE... Read the full description.

Img005_small A two-legged creature
Will seem to have four
He'll wear a fake mustache
And come to the door
Is it children all dressed up
On Halloween night?
Or something determined
To hide from our sight.

This riddle is about the nature of riddles.  The clues shed light on the way words both conceal and reveal.   The classic Riddle of the Sphinx is drawn in for comparison.   By engaging with the masquerading words, we hone our skill at seeing beyond the apparent.

NEW RIDDLE:
Cloven comfort
Decks the wary.
(solution: in the 12/12/09 piece)
