I traveled to Peru in late May and early June. The country was preparing for the big Inti Raymi festivals at the end the month and the streets were full of dance competitions, ramshackle bands (old men with drums, tubas, trombones, flutes), street vendors, and buskers. It was an amazing, beautiful racket.
