Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren's Spontaneous Responses to the UN Kangaroo Court Findings of alleged ''War Crimes'' in Gaza Read the full description.

Kangaroocourt-downwithisrael_42xgif_small The responses of Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren to the so-called ''even-handed'' findings [NOT] of the UN Human Rights Commission Report by Richard Goldstone who admits that the UN only investigated 36 alleged incidents in Gaza and none of the over 12,000 rocket firings into southern Israel over the past four years.

The legal principle of ''unclean hands'' would give no standing to spending time and money to produce a report that, although it claims to be against both Palestinians and Israelis, only reports on incidents that would levy fines or awards to Palestinians in Gaza.  The same is NOT done for Israelis in Israel for rocket-firing incidents during the past four years (the incidents which are UN Resolution violations that prompted Isreal after much patiently enduring of the violations to do something to stop the attacks since the UN did nothing to enforce its own Resolution against such attacks against Israel).

This is raw audio -- not edited for straight air play.  And, it's the words of the Ambassador only.

The following is Dateline 16-Sep-2009, Israel, by Hana Levi Julian, reporter for Arutz Sheva:

''Barely four days after his stay in the hospital following a collapse Saturday night (12-Sep-2009), during a speaking engagement in Tel Aviv, President Shimon Peres is back at work -- and has issued an unusually biting response to the United Nation's Goldstone Report on last January's IDF counterterrorist Operation Cast Lead in Gaza.

''Peres issued a scathing statement against the report on Wednesday afternoon, calling it "a mockery of history" and charging that it "fails to distinguish between the aggressor and a state exercising its right for self defense."

''War itself is a crime, pointed out the president, adding that the aggressor is the criminal. "The side exercising self-defense has no other alternative," he said.

"The Hamas terror organization has opened war and perpetrated other horrible crimes. For years, Hamas carried out attacks against the children of Israel, sending suicide bombers into city centers, injuring and killing civilians. They fired over 12,000 rockets and mortar shells at towns and villages with one clear aim -- to kill innocent civilians.

"The report legitimizes terrorist activity, the pursuit of murder and death. The report disregards the duty and right of self defense, held by every sovereign state as enshrined in the UN Charter," he added..

''Israel removed all of its troops and every resident in the 2005 Disengagement from Gaza, he noted, including some who had lived in the area for decades. Israel opened the border crossings and also actively supported the region's reconstruction at the time.

"The Israeli presence in Gaza was terminated," he observed, "But after Israel completed its redeployment from Gaza, a murderous and illegitimate terror group violently revolted against the legitimate Fatah leadership, overthrowing it by force. Hamas operatives murdered Fatah leaders, at times throwing them from rooftops in broad daylight."

"While Hamas continued firing, Israel employed, time and time again, the diplomatic channels, including many appeals to the U.N. – in an attempt to bring about a cessation of rocket fire," he said.

''Those attempts were ineffective, as was the IDF's redeployment and re-termination of its presence in the region.

"Hamas responded with incessant rocket fire aimed at killing children, women and innocent civilians. Instead of building Gaza and caring for the welfare of its citizens, Hamas built tunnels to attack Israel, cruelly using children and innocent Palestinians to hide terrorists and ammunition. Hamas terrorists built rocket launchpads and storages near schools, in mosques and kindergartens. They have booby-trapped urban neighborhoods and used Palestinian children as human-shields in order to hide terrorists and means of warfare," Peres pointed out.

"The State of Israel was forced to defend itself. It acted out of obligation to its citizens, like any sister state in the family of nations would. Israel has been criticized for its actions against Hizbullah attacks from Lebanon and Hamas attacks from the Gaza Strip," as well as for building the security barrier in Judea and Samaria to prevent suicide bombers from entering the country.

"This criticism did not stop the rockets from hitting the South and the North, nor did it stop terrorists from blowing themselves up in our central cities," he said.

"Those in pursuit of peace have justice on their side. Those who monger war will forever be criminals."

''With an uncharacteristic shade of bitterness, Peres predicted, 'Members of the commission would have never compiled such a report should their children have resided in Sderot and have suffered the terror of daily rocket fire.' ''

This is Kangaroo Court sweat and simple -- and what you're reading now is not ''tied-hand'' journalism but common-sense commentary -- so let's get real and call a spade a spade.  The UN HR Commission Report in NOT even-handed but one-sided against Isreal.

You can hear Ambassador Oren's responses are carefully worded so as not to unduely add fuel to the flames that the UN Human Rights Commission Report ignites -- and the facts are presented spontaneously and well by the Ambassador such that a rational person can see that the Goldstone's Report is slanted against Israel from the get-go.  Goldstone's Kangaroo Court was filled with opponents of Israel who had prejudged Israel as guilty even before it bagan its limited ''fact-finding'' against Israel in Gaza.

Oh, but, the Report finds against Hamas.  Yes, but when one listens carefully to Ambassador Oren's responses and check the facts that correspond, a rational person should be able to see that the insane Hamas proponents have ''no standing'' because of their long-standing violations of UN Resolutions against Palestinian rocket attacks into Israel.  They have no standing against Israel because of their own years and years of ''unclean hands.''

Unless your mind is already made up against Israel and you are determined to not change it, listen to Ambassador Oren here.  Otherwise, don't listen -- because you won't hear what he's saying anyway and you'll just be wasting bandwidth.  The bias against Israel in the name of the institution whose first acts involved the creation of the state of Israel to be a protected land for the Jews whose grandfathers and grandmothers, and fathers and mothers and brothers and sisters and cousins and aunts and uncles suffered the Holocaust.  Instead what happens?

The UN shuts a blind eye to years and years of Palestinian rocket attacks into Israel and sluffs it off with the statement as Goldstone said on 15-September-2009, ''Well, you know, the allegations against the Palestinian armed groups relate to the firing of rockets and mortars, and there isn't much dispute -- there isn't any dispute that they fired those rockets and mortars.''   An admission of immence proportions -- but what is the UN Kangaroo Court doing about that?  Nothing!  And nothing more is said about.  Oh, we know the Palestinians are guilty -- and we don't give one hoot about their crimes against Israel.  Open and shut.  The Palestinians have done crimes against Israeli civilians more than 7,000 times over but we just consider that NORMAL.  That's old news -- and we're not going to do anything about it nor consider it against our resolutions.  We're just going to ignore that.

We want to cause harm to Israel and its reputation any preceivable wrong during its acts of self-defence.  And, the fact that Hamas and the Palestinians will use civilian human shields and deify them as martyrs and put them in harms way and jeopardize both their lives and the men and women who try to fight responsibly for Israel -- oh, well, we the UN Kangaroo Court will just choose to ignore that.  We're playing cowboys and Indians and we're choosing to make the Palestinians whereever they are the cowboys, the good guys, the misplaced refugees who we the UN help to put into a position of nevery wanting to get out of the handouts for refugees syndrone.

15-September-2009 -- AMBASSADOR MICHAEL OREN FROM THE STATE OF ISRAEL:

Section one:

''Israel does its utmost to avoid inflicting civilian casualties during military operations. This contrasts us very fundamentally, profoundly with Hamas and Gaza, which does its utmost to maximize civilian casualties on the Israeli side and exults in civilian casualties on its own side, declaring them as martyrs.

The operation in Gaza last winter followed years in which Israel was subjected to rocket fire, over 7,000 rockets fired into southern Israel. At one point, almost a million Israelis were under rocket fire, rockets that were deliberately targeted at our neighborhoods, at our nursery schools, at our hospitals.

And it followed the evacuation of Gaza, in which Israel evacuated 9,000 of its civilians, uprooted its settlements, pulled out its army bases in an attempt to create peaceful conditions...
