Our American Culture
From: Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow- Phil Mariage
Series: Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow
Length: 29:00
In 2005 we discussed Our American Culture as it was perceived then by the older, middle and younger generations. Robert Roth 92, a former policeman, writer, poet and businesman spoke of our culture going back to post WWI times. Robert Hupp, Artistic Director of the Arkansas Repetory Theatre spoke from the middle generation perspective and Warrick Sabin who writes for the Arkansas Times and was Director of Development at the Clinton Presidential Library, spoke from the younger generation. Now that almost 5 years have passed since we recorded this program, even now we can see changes in our culture. This is a fine discussion and listening to Robert Roth remind of us of the way our culture used to be...is very eyeopening.
