Series: European Jazz Stage 2009
From: Radio Netherlands Worldwide
Length: 00:58:35
For the second time the finals of The European Jazz Competition took place at this year's North Sea Jazz Festival. European jazz producers from all national public radio stations across Europe, as well as associated members in Canada and the United States nominated local groups featuring musicians below 30 years of age.
A jury of European jazz radio producers made a blind selection of four finalists. We present them, together with the winners of the Dutch Jazz Competition, The Blazin' Quartet, in the last program of the series, packed with young European talent!
