Seattle writer J.W. Marshall’s poem “Robin Chase Crow” prompts literary producer Elizabeth Austen to notice the way spring brings us all out of doors to interact with our neighbors – human and animal alike. Marshall is the author of MEANING A CLOUD (Oberlin College Press, 2008). With his wife, the poet Christine Deavel, Marshall owns and operates Seattle’s poetry-only bookstore, Open Books, in Wallingford.
