There is a different kind of inmate at Colorado's East Canon (CAN-YON)Prison Complex: wild mustangs. The Bureau of Land Managment's wild horse and burro holding facility in Canon City, Colorado now holds over two thousand wild horses and burros from across the American West. Holding facilities in the midwest are full and the BLM Wild Horse and Burro Adoption Program is down by forty percent. But, the BLM continues to round up wild herds. From Carbondale, Colorado, Amy Hadden (HAD-DEN) Marsh has this report.
