DENI: No! I mean have you ever worked someplace that just felt toxic?
DEAN: Yeah. People suspicious of each other and talking behind one another’s backs.
DENI: So, how did you make it better?
DEAN: Me? Make it better? I took another job.
DENI: There are other choices besides fight or flight!
DEAN: Oh? I have some magical power to change the workplace? Deni, you can’t manage other peoples’ personality conflicts.
DENI: You can’t manage them, but you can change yourself and model how you want other people to behave. Every one of us can change the workplace if we remember three things to do and one thing not to do. Ready?
