Nothing Gold Can StayAn evocative reminder how how easily peak experiences in our lives become buried so deeply in the minutiae of day-to-day experience that we can barely remember having had them. |

Lingering SmileA delightful, feel-good piece! I love how Crane captures the speech and tone of adolescent best friends. This story feels like a lingering smile. |

Great piece
I'm inspired by these short pieces -- hearing how the author came to create this piece and just how good the snapshot in life is. Bikinis from Target, boys who aren't heroes, a girl who is. BFF's who end up being BF's for Awhile. Well done.
