- Belfast, A Decade After Peace
- From
- Youth Radio
Pendarvis Harshaw reports on young people in Belfast growing up at the heart of the neighborhood where Catholic and Protestant battles raged for decades. They live around the corner from the IRA’s home office and in the only European town divided by a “Peace Wall”. The young people are the neighborhood’s best ambassadors for ‘reconciliation’, but still facing challenges like high unemployment and suicide rates that are the highest in Europe.
