Intro and Outro
INTRO:"Radio Rounds" is a show produced entirely by medical students, featuring physicians and other guests from all over the country. The show is hosted by Avash Kalra and Lakshman Swamy, first year medical students at Wright State University's Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, OH. They discuss the personal experiences of physicians through their medical careers as well as broader topics ranging from the future of health care to public health, medical ethics, and the patient's perspective.
This episode aired April 12th of 2009. Radio Rounds hosted Dr. Gary LeRoy, a Dean at the Boonshoft School of Medicine, who described his personal story as well as his views on the importance of primary care and the doctor-patient relationship. Medical students in their third and fourth years gave their perspective on medical education on the show as well.
