INTRO: What's the most common thing happening throughout the United States this month?
This is time when many of the 50 states of the USA are conducting their state truck driver competitions to select the winners to represent each state in the national truck driver championship that will be held in August this year in Pittsburgh.
Would you like to know what it is the majority of these truck drivers are doing to help them stay alert and be well informed at the same time -- what they are listening to in their cabs as they spend hours spinning those large 18-wheelers down the nations freeways. On yeah, most of them have satellite and tune that in a little bit, but many truck drivers are telling me that a majority of the truck drivers listen to a lot of public radio.
