On April 20th 2009 the NORML Freedom Forum was held at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. Speakers on the topic of ending marijuana prohibition spoke at the Kirby Auditorium.

New Jersey has active legislation that would create a state authorized therapeutic cannabis program. The New Jersey Compassionate Use Medical Marijuana Act, A804, will be heard soon by the Assembly Health Committee. The bill's Senate version passed in February. A804 only needs the full Assembly vote to become law, since Governor Corzine has said he would sign when the bill reaches his desk. 

Charles Kwiatkowski testified before the NJ Senate Health Committee hearings in Deceber 2008. His testimony, recounted in this talk, adh  moving ipact on legislators.

Gerogine DiMaria offers is a seasoned health advocate and this speech was her debut on the cause of medial marijuana. He poise and passion are evident in the talk.
