The 2009 KERRVILLE FOLK FESTIVAL runs May 21 - June 7, 2009.

 

A great time to air this timeless documentary and modules about it!

 

Included here is the 9-minute "All Things Considered" feature on the 30th anniversary of the festival in 2001, ten short modules, and a one hour documentary.

 

The modules are as follows:

 

  1. KERRVERT (3:34) – The special language of Kerrville.

  2. CAMPING WITH CHRIST (3:25) Secular humor at the festival.

  3. ARAM JAM (3:21) Folk-jazz artist David Amram merges genres.

  4. BILL & VERN (3:22) How one newcomer got “kerrverted.”

  5. THE MAGIC OF KERRVILLE (3:50) What makes the festival so special.

  6. 6. KAMP CUISINE (3:23) Feeding the musicians.

  7. THE GEOGRAPHY PF KERRVILLE (4:03) Texpert Howie Richey tours the festival landscape.
