World Vision Report - Show 275 (Half Hour) - Malaria Special

From: World Vision Report
Length: 28:00

The World Health Organization says malaria kills more than a million people a year -- mostly children under the age of five. It’s an easily preventable disease, but a lack of medication, mosquito nets, and counterfeit drugs have hampered prevention, treatment, and eradication programs for years. To mark World Malaria Day on April 25th, the World Vision Report focuses this week entirely on malaria -- its history, causes, treatments, and the campaign to wipe out malaria by the year 2010. Read the full description.
