This week in history, we look back to when a former President attempted to take over the Steel Mills during a labor dispute at the time of the Koren Conflict. President Harry S. Truman had a history of having seized over TWO DOZEN businesses during little more than his first year in office in 1945-1946 -- some of which were entire industries, such as railroads and the meat packers. But when he attempted to take over the steel Mills, the US Supreme Court forbade him!!! Hear the story and the contrast to today's events here.
