In the late '90's you couldn't get away from Fastball.  The Austin trio came from (seemingly) out of nowhere to score massive hits with "The Way" and "Out of My Head", songs with Beatle-esque melodies so instantly infectious they sounded like classics on the first spin.  
Fast-forward to SXSW '09.  Before an intimate gathering of fans and media in KUT Austin's Studio 1A, Fastball re-emerged with a new collection of material.  The results--along with the historic context--are captured here in a one-hour special, especially suitable for evening or weekend programming.  Hosted by David Brown of KUT's award-winning Texas Music Matters journalism unit.  Enjoy!
