Sometimes you just want more. There’s this set of circumstances called your life, and for most people, that’s enough. For others, the idea of being only one thing is like being trapped in a room without doors or windows. Even if you’re good at that one thing. Knowing there’s something else out there can drive you to some pretty unexpected ends. Make you do things you didn’t think you were capable of.

When Maria, Pam, and Linda met, they had two things in common. They were all from the South, and they dreamed that someday they could work for themselves. Before long, they were talking about their grandmothers’ kitchens. That’s what led to the cupcakes.
