The March 8th organization has been fighting the Iranian and Afghani oppression of women for 30 years. Hundreds of Angelenos rallied in support of Women's rights worldwide, on Saturday March 7th in honor of the March 8th date. The advocates wanted to emphasize a freedom from the Islamic Republic of Iran and a resolve to not be brought down by US Imperialism. Emphatic rallies were held at either end of the Westwood Boulevard March.
