World-Famous motorcycle designer J.T. Nesbittt was in the middle east, meeeting with the prince of Bahrain to discuss a million dollar motorcycle deal when Katrina arrived on the shores of Louisiana. He lost his job and everything he owned so he took a job tending bar to make ends meet. The owner of the bar offered him a flood ravaged Linoln that had been rotting in his driveway ever since the storm. J.T. took one look at the destroyed vehicle and decided he wanted to turn it into a race car and attempt to break a land speed record at the Bonneville salt flats in Utah.
