Bach-02_small SUGGESTED HOST INTRO

This Mix can be used without an Intro or by saying...

The word "spirituality" gets used quite a bit these days.  Some say there's a spiritual connection in the music by Bach.

MIX RUNDOWN AND TRANSCRIPT
Spot begins with music

Murray Perahia:  "At the very basis, a lot of it is a prayer and imaging something bigger than one is."

Julia Fischer:  "It's like cleaning my soul to put it that way.  It's like other people pray everyday – that's how I play Bach everyday, because it gives me balance for my mind, for my soul, for my heart,  and that's why he's probably the most important composer in my life."

Steven Isserlis:  "Whether it's got a religious subtext or not, it is sacred music because it's so incredibly great."

Music...

"I'm cellist Steven Isserlis; I'm violinist Julia Fischer; I'm pianist Murray Perahia." (Music fades at 0:44)
