Beat Latino celebrates in every hour a different facet of the extraordinary diversity of the Latin & Latino musical universe.
From Brazil to Cuba, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Peru..... our musical universe explodes in effusive celebration, accompanying "Fat Tuesday" with a multitude of rhythms to help us prepare musically for the Lenten season of fasting .... by dancing a farewell to merry-making.
Broadcasts nicely in late January to February 24 for this year. Bilingual commentary (English and Spanish) ensures that most who will appreciate the music will also enjoy the information that accompanies the tunes.
