Piece Description

In August 2007, a strong earthquake destroyed the districts of Pisco and Ica on the Peruvian coast. Thousands died, thousands more were left homeless — and an even greater number of people were left traumatized by the event. Recovery from that kind of trauma is especially difficult for small children. But a new and simple method is helping kids with post-traumatic stress in Peru — and beyond.
