King, and the Persuasions to Albert King, doing some holiday favorites and some more recent ones for the season. Saffire The Uppity blueswomen and Victoria Spivey have some holiday bummers for us, and we'll play a traditional song from the great pianist McCoy Tyner's new album "Guitars" with Derek Trucks on guitar, that the great jazz pianist first performed when he was working with John Coltrane. We'll also feature Kenny Ellis's jazzy Hannukah album called "Hanukkah Swings!" & spin several tracks from it. Ellis combines his passions for Jewish culture and swing era jazz on the album, and it's a perfect fit. Also, Aziza Mustafa Zadeh, stellar pianist from Azerbaijan living in Germany offers her holiday blessings on the piano.
