An entertainment and creativity development program for children and their families. Each section of the show provides an opportunity to participate in an expressive arts activity that supports a variety of child development skill areas.
Set the mood to get involved and bring your imagination along…the a cappella group Euphoria is calling out our theme song and that’s your invitation to get on board! Get you bodies moving and your voices out and proud.
Get your rhythm grooving with our “sing-and-dance-along” song, "My Father Took Me Fishin'".
An extra added story reading of childhood remenicents of a fishing trip with Dad.
Our guided imagery starts with word play and double meanings and points out trusting your own feelings and warning signs when things are not right. The guided motor experience begins with oral motor muscle isolation, then smooth lateral, sequential movements.
Memory and word meanings triggered with a couple of jokes.
Now on to our Radio Drama:"A Fish Out of Water" We take a trip through the under water and above water worlds of a Koi pond. Themes of respecting differences and similarities, individuality, friendship and mutual support are explored. Many water sights, sounds and sensations are experienced.
