Piece Description

A beautiful Turkomen rug reveals its designs to be made of hand-grenades, helicopters, and Kalashnikovs -- a "souvenir" of the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan. What's worse, I learn, is that tribal carpets are made by little girls. I wonder what little girls there are weaving today.
