There are now between 6 and 700,000 Vietnamese Catholics living in the United States. That's about 1/3 of America's Vietnamese population.
Their numbers are growing, mainly due to converts, and that's reflected in the swelling congregation at Holy Martyrs. Masses are packed with a new generation of children, and good luck trying to find a parking space on Sundays. Plans are now underway for a brand new, multi-million dollar church. They hope to begin building next year [2009] just in time for their 30th anniversary.
