At seven p.m. on Saturday, November 15th la Noche de Los Musecs, the night of the Museums, begins in Buenos Aires. From seven p.m. until two a.m. the following morning a large number of the city museums of Buenos Aires open their doors, turn on the lights and welcome the public inside with no charge. Eleven of the most useful bus routes wave the ninety centavos or one pesos fare. Mini vans have also been provided to run between museums within two or three barrios that are adjacent to one other.
The night of the museums is an annual event now in its fifth year. This is Open Studio with a city government twist. This is a night when families will dine early - before 8 p.m. - and then take to the streets in search of remembered treasures and new discoveries. Grown dau...
