Review of Love treatise
Well, I was definitely inclined to like this because it used my favorite song to sing on karaoke throughout the entire story. But the song ended up as just a bonus, because this story was really fun to listen to. It addressed a big subject with a lighthearted but meaningful tone. The best parts of this story were definitely all the good punchlines. Cooper Galvin is very funny. My favorites were during his interview with teenage boys. Also, the 7th grade girls who were interviewed provided some very giggly and honest commentary on love. And they even made a really funny reference to the song "Love is Battlefield". It would have been clever coming from anyone, but it was even better coming from 7th graders (Don't say that young people don't know 80's music!). Lastly, when Galvin interviewed his teacher, he provided a slightly more serious definition of love. The differences in the people interviewed made this story really well-rounded. The good production and humorous insight made this one a really enjoyable and awesome story to listen to.
