Beautiful and wise

My wife and I had an amniocentesis during our pregnancy, and discovered we had a "1 in 6" chance of our daughter having Down Syndrome. For this reason, I can understand this in an empathic, heartfelt sense.
Essays such as this are the backbone of "This I Believe". I'm so glad I found this.
