Bios:
Martha Burk is Money Editor for Ms. Magazine, and former Chair of the National Council of Women's Organizations in Washington, D.C. She is a syndicated columnist, and blogger for the Huffington Post. Dr. Burk serves an advisor to candidates on women's issues, and she appears regularly on national television and radio.
Arianna Huffington is the co-founder and editor in chief of The Huffington Post, a nationally syndicated columnist, and author of twelve books. She is also co-host of "Left, Right & Center," public radio's popular political roundtable program. Since she launched The Huffington Post, a news and blog site in 2005, it has quickly become one of the most widely read, linked to, and frequently cited media brands on the Internet. In 2006, she was named to the Time 100, Time Magazine's list of the world?s 100 most influential people.
Dolores Huerta co-founded the United Farmworkers with Cesar Chavez in 1966. In the decades since, she been in the forefront of work for labor and women's rights. In 1993 Dolores was inducted into the National Women's Hall of Fame. That same year she received the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) Roger Baldwin Medal of Liberty Award. In 1998 she was one of three Ms. Magazine's, "Women of the Year", and the Ladies Home Journal's, "100 Most Important Women of the 20th Century". She is the Vice President for the Coalition for Labor Union Women. In 2004 she served as National Chair of Women for John Kerry and continues to campaign actively for candidates that champion the rights of workers and women.
As an Emmy Award winning television host, New York Times bestselling author, and one of the most prolific motivational speakers today, Suze Orman is one of America's favorite personal finance experts. After working at a major brokerage firm for seven years, Orman directed the Suze Orman Financial Group from 1987 1997, and is now a national media star. In May 2008, Time Magazine named her one of The World's Most Influential People, and in 2007, BusinessWeek designated her the top female motivational speaker. She hosts her own show on CNBC and is featured on the cover of the Fall 2008 issue of Ms. magazine.
