Default-piece-image-1 When you look at someone, a stranger at the library, on the street, what's the first thing you notice? Often, it's their gender: man or woman, boy or girl. For some people, though, gender isn't so easily divided into one category or the other... Transgendered people have for decades mostly tried to blend in, out of fear of discrimination and harassment. But recent events have started to change that. In this series, Producer Tina Antolini brings a series of reports on members of the transgender community in Western New England. We begin with the story of 49-year-old Robyn L. Born male, she says she always felt she belonged with the girls, instead of the boys.
