Review of THE FATHER BROWN MYSTERIES. Episode 1: The Blue Cross
A seemingly bumbling English (Father Brown) cleric floils the theft of a valuable cross encrusted with blue sapphires through a series of activities designed to draw attention to the whereabouts of a famous criminal named Flambeau, even as the French Inspector Craven persues this criminal.
Colonial Radio Theatre's production of the Father Brown Mysteries is full of sound effects, enacted by a full professional cast, accented with nice musical touches, and is appropriate for family entertainment.
