An alumna from the class of '49 tells the story of how she met her future husband, for whom a fellowship was named in his memory. The fellowship brings a speaker of note to our school each year. North Shore Names profiles alumni and former teachers and staff of our school and the campus places, school events or recognitions named in their honor or in their memory. During the project, third graders interviewed sixteen people: alumni from 1938 to 1983 and teachers, administrators and staff who used to work at our school, just north of Chicago. We also created slideshows for two of the audio docs and another short slideshow for an excerpt from another audio doc.
