G. Love was raised in Philadelphia, spent a year at Skidmore college and then dropped out to pursue his musical dreams. He landed in Boston where he met his band "Special Sauce". G. Love and Special Sauce have been making music for over a decade. G. Love concedes he made some mistakes in the beginning; mistakes which cost him. Now he says he's learned how to "play the game". He has a new album on Jack Johnson's label. It's called Superhero Brother.
