This is a How-To for creating promos for the Rural Issues in ?08 series. There is enough material here for a :30 spot for the series overall, a :30 spot for each story, and a :08 bite for each story. To produce you will need:
-a couple hours to retool and voice the promo copy
-and the bites and beds listed here: x
The :30 promo is designed to be used in the 1:30+ music beds on the day before a specific story airs. The bites are designed to be used in the :29 bed before the newscast on the day of the story. But feel free to use them however you like
Below is the suggested copy for each bite/promo. There is about 8 seconds between the opening bites and the main bite. It?s recommend you do a read through on a couple in order to get a feel for the pacing. If the timing just isn?t working for you there is a blank :30 bed you can use to mix in the bites
