Piece Description

Chris Walla is a busy guy. The guitarist and producer for the band "Death Cab for Cutie" has a solo album "Field Manual". But that hasn't interfered with his band work. Death Cab's second album with Atlantic records is called "Narrow Stairs". Chris Walla has been called "the architect" of Death Cab for Cutie's sound, a sound that helped make the Seattle-group one of the most loved within the indie-music world. In 2005, DCFC signed with Atlantic records. They sold almost a million records with their major label debut plans. Chris Walla has also produced albums for bands including the Decemberists and Tegan and Sara.
