After giving the Andy Kimbel interview a good listen, I am left with wanting to hear more even though the length of the entire program was about two hours.
I really enjoyed listening to the artist provide backgrounds and technical "notes" on some of the selections.
The music is energetic and inspiring. I like the natural feel of the show. The guitarist is talented and also humorous at times which presents a fresh uplifting experience.
Aside from being an excellent musician, Andy Kimbel exhibits a real passion for what he does that really comes across. The song selections also have a nice flow.
Perhaps a few more songs would be nice even if it means cutting down the allotted time for interviews.

Versatile guitar playing is always good company and Andy Kimbel is certainly that. I was painting my kitchen and was kept busy with his fluency in various styles: blues, country, Irish, - his playing is interspersed with interviews that are sometimes amusing, and sometimes overly enthusiastic in craft talk (which can leave the listener with a question mark overhead - notes to producer). This is easy fare to use for filling overnight - it's 2 hours which under normal circumstances might be too long - but having someone over in the corner of the room happily picking away is an easy enough way to pass the night.
