Piece Description
The unlikely journey of John Bruna who went from a life of crime, homelessness, and addiction to become one of the most beloved teachers at Jordan High School, in a troubled neighborhood in Long Beach, California. Losing his daughter to the state after being declared an unfit father, he turned his life around after his AA sponsor told him that if he ever got another chance to be a father, why doesn't he become "someone worth finding." John was re-united with his daughter 8 years later. He then made another transformation, to become a Tibetan Buddhist monk.
