Piece Description
Rain or Shine is a community organization that is looking to turn many of the city's blighted properties into community gardens. Today we take a trip to the garden where volunteers work with kids, teaching them the basics of gardening. The produce grown by the kids will be sold at local farmers markets, and the proceeds will go to help fund the garden and take the kids on field trips. The garden is also a place where local musicians volunteer to do after-school music programs with the kids in the neighborhood. Rain or Shine hopes to make this garden the first of many throughout the city.
