From: Susan Barrett Price
Length: 02:27

Not being able to speak up to say the right thing at the right moment: a scene from high school Read the full description.

Voiceless01_small Another moment of glory from my lo-on-ng childhood. This scene crystalized pretty quickly -- one of those memories where you think back and say to yourself, "what a dolt." What strangles and stifles us? Is it school? Is it puberty? What makes saying a coherent sentence in front of an audience worse than death itself? Won "Truth, Dare or Joke #2" competition, responding to the call to "tell a time things were bad and then got worse." on :Vocalo, 89.5 FM in Chicago, Northwest Indiana & live online.
