For this year's (2008) Third Coast Festival public audio challenge, participants were asked to select two out of five internet-posted books from the Prelinger Library and, in a piece under three minutes, make a connection between those two books. This is my inspiration, using the books: Trees As Good Citizens (by Charles Lathrop Park, 1922) and Control of Body and Mind (by Frances Gulick Jewett, 1908).
